okayamatakatoshi (Japanese: おかやまたかとし) is a Kyoto-based freelance illustrator originally from Osaka Prefecture. He graduated from the Manga Department of Kyoto Seika University. He is known for his contributions to the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket (PTCGP) and has illustrated both digital and physical Pokémon cards. His first card illustration was a Snorlax promo card, and he became the first PTCGP artist not associated with PLANETA who had not previously illustrated for the physical Pokémon TCG. He made his physical TCG debut by illustrating the Scolipede line for the Black Bolt expansion. As of now, he has illustrated 5 cards for Pokémon TCG Pocket and 4 for the physical TCG. His artistic style combines digital tools like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator with a hand-painted aesthetic. In addition to Pokémon, his work extends into caricature and picture books.
