Yuichi Sawayama is a confirmed illustrator for the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG). He illustrated four cards in the Expedition Base Set: Gloom (78/165), Metapod (87/165), Charmander (98/165), and Tauros (133/165). His contributions to the TCG have been recognized by multiple sources, including Bulbapedia and Serebii.net. In addition to his work on trading cards, Sawayama was also a Pokémon modeler and designer for Creatures, Inc., where he contributed to several video game projects such as Hey You, Pikachu!, Pokémon Snap, Pokémon Stadium, Pokémon Colosseum, and Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness.
