About
Raita Kazama (風間雷太) is a Japanese illustrator known for his work in the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) and related merchandise. He began his career in merchandise in 2022 and made his TCG debut in 2025 with the illustration of Mega Gardevoir ex, a Special Illustration Rare card from the Mega Evolution expansion. Kazama has illustrated a total of three Pokémon TCG cards: Mega Gardevoir ex, Cresselia from the Phantasmal Flames expansion, and N’s Zoroark ex from the Ascended Heroes expansion. In addition to his TCG contributions, he has created various official Pokémon merchandise designs, including sleeves and deck cases for characters like Cynthia and Garchomp, as well as event artwork for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. Kazama is a graduate of the Academy of Art University and has a background in character design for games such as Xenoblade, Puzzle & Dragons, and Brigandine: The Legend of Runersia.
