Fujimoto Gold (Japanese: フジモトゴールド), born in 1993, is an illustrator, concept artist, and designer based in Kobe, Hyōgo, Japan. His pen-name originated as praise from a restaurant owner where he worked part-time. Initially, he studied business administration, statistics, and human resource management in Kobe but later pursued graphic design at Kobe City College of Technology, becoming a freelance illustrator. He also worked as a web designer and coder before focusing fully on illustration. His earliest involvement with the Pokémon franchise was in 2021 as the sole background artist for the animated short POKÉTOON's Snorunt’s Summer Vacation. In 2022, he submitted illustrations to the Pokémon TCG Illustration Contest, advancing to the quarter-finals. In 2023, he served as character designer for Detective Pikachu & the Mystery of the Missing Flan. In 2024, he contributed his first official artwork to the Pokémon TCG, illustrating Gastly in the Temporal Forces expansion. To date, he has illustrated a total of 8 Pokémon TCG cards.
