Eri Kamei

Eri Kamei (亀井 英里) is a freelance illustrator based in Tokyo, originally from Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. She graduated from the Department of Design Informatics at Musashino Art University. Kamei is known for her contributions to the Pokémon Trading Card Game, having illustrated multiple cards including Glimmit from the Surging Sparks expansion, Munna and Musharna from the Black Bolt series, and Stoutland from the White Flare series. Her work also includes illustrations for Carbink and Noibat from the Ascended Heroes set. Kamei's artistic style is characterized by a dreamy and natural aesthetic, with a focus on flora, fauna, and cultural history. In addition to her work in the TCG, she has experience in book publishing, advertising, merchandise, and stationery. Kamei launched an online shop in 2024 to showcase her artwork.
