Akino Fukuji

Akino Fukuji (福地 明乃) is an illustrator born in Okinawa in 1993. She graduated from Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts in 2016 and from Tokyo University of the Arts in 2018. Currently, she works as a freelance illustrator based in Kanagawa, Japan. Akino has contributed artwork to the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), with her first illustrated card being Alolan Diglett from the Surging Sparks expansion. To date, she has illustrated a total of three cards, including reprints. The known cards she has illustrated are Alolan Diglett (Surging Sparks), Phanpy (from the Ninja Spinner set), and Tirtouga (from the Black Bolt set). The Tirtouga card is an Illustration Rare (Full Art) in the Scarlet & Violet — Black Bolt expansion, showcasing her artistic talent.
