hanabushi, whose real name is Kōdai Watanabe (渡邊巧大), is a recognized illustrator known for his contributions to the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG). He has illustrated one card, Iono, from the Scarlet & Violet – Paldean Fates expansion, which is designated as card #237 and features a Special Illustration Rare variant. Beyond his work in the TCG, hanabushi is also active as an animator, animation director, and character designer. He worked on key visuals for the #Pokémon after school×eggnam campaign in 2024, producing original event card illustrations. Additionally, he has published an art collection titled BRAINMACHINE04 Hanabushi Artworks, which includes around 1,000 visuals such as storyboards and character designs.
