Wataru Kawahara is a Japanese illustrator known for his work on the Pokémon Trading Card Game. He debuted with illustrations in the Beat of the Frontier expansion and has illustrated approximately 36 to 44 cards, including notable ones like Charizard G LV.X, Scyther, and Tyranitar. His contributions span various expansions, and he is recognized for his dual role as both illustrator and director on certain cards, collaborating with Shinji Higuchi.
