About
Tsuyoshi Nagano (長野 剛) is a Japanese illustrator born in 1961, best known for his cover artwork for the Romance of the Three Kingdoms games by Koei since the 1980s. His art style blends realism and surrealism. In addition to his work in video games, he is credited as an illustrator for the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), with his first card being Haxorus from the Shrouded Fable expansion. He has illustrated three cards for the Pokémon TCG, including Haxorus, Salamence ex from the Journey Together set, and Tauros. His special illustration rare Salamence ex is particularly noted and valued. Nagano's contributions to the Pokémon TCG have established him as a recognized artist within the community.
