Souichirou Gunjima (Japanese: 軍島曹一郎, or Gunjima Sōichirō) is a freelance illustrator known for his contributions to the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG). He began his career by participating in the Pokémon Card Game Illustration Grand Prix, where he illustrated a Metagross. His first official card for the TCG was Indeedee from the Shining Fates expansion. Gunjima has illustrated a total of 99 official Pokémon TCG cards and 62 cards for the TCG Pocket format. His artwork is also featured on merchandise, including the Pokémon TCG Fire Stacking Tin with Charizard, Scorbunny & Braixen, and Victini. One of his recent works includes the Japanese Slowbro card from the Shiny Treasure ex set, released on December 1, 2023. Gunjima is recognized as one of the more frequently featured artists in the Pokémon TCG, with around 70 cards illustrated. Additionally, he has worked on the Digimon Card Game, showcasing his versatility in collectible card game illustration.
