About
Shin Nagasawa (長澤 真) is a freelance illustrator known for his contributions to the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) and other Pokémon-related merchandise. He began his career as a graphic designer at Square after graduating in 1994 and transitioned to freelance work in 2000. Nagasawa has illustrated over 300 cards for the Pokémon TCG, with his earliest known works being Dragonite FB and Regigigas FB from the Supreme Victors expansion. His artistic style varies, featuring dynamic poses and a mix of bold outlines and subtle color gradients. He has also created packaging artwork for several Pokémon TCG expansions, including Boundaries Crossed and Plasma Storm. In addition to his work in the Pokémon franchise, he sometimes uses the pseudonyms 'JASON' and 'J‑mura' for self-published works. His contributions have made him a significant figure in the Pokémon TCG community.
