Saya Tsuruta (鶴田沙綾, pronounced Tsuruta Saya) is a designer and illustrator known for her work on the Pokémon video games and the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG). She began her TCG career with the Lotad card from the Secret Wonders expansion and has illustrated a total of 133 Pokémon TCG cards, including reprints. Notably, her artwork features a hidden motif where almost every card she illustrates contains a concealed Poké Ball in the background. This detail has been recognized and celebrated by the TCG community, making her work distinctive and memorable.
