About
PLANETA is a Japanese graphic design and illustration studio founded in September 2011 by Hideaki Hakozaki in Tokyo. The studio specializes in 3D CGI and illustration and has made significant contributions to the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG). PLANETA began illustrating physical cards starting with the Flashfire expansion and has produced booster pack art, Theme Deck art, and key visuals for TCG-related products. The studio has illustrated approximately 40 to 45 cards for the physical Pokémon TCG and around 267 cards for the Pokémon TCG Pocket digital platform. Individual illustrators within the studio, such as PLANETA Igarashi and PLANETA Tsuji, are credited separately for their work on various cards. PLANETA Igarashi has illustrated 45 cards, while PLANETA Tsuji has illustrated 65 cards, including notable works like the Porygon-Z-GX promo.
