About
Natsuko Shoji été is a Japanese chef and pâtissier, known for founding the high-end Tokyo restaurant été. She gained recognition for winning Asia’s Best Pastry Chef in 2020 and Asia’s Best Female Chef in 2022. In addition to her culinary achievements, she has contributed artwork to the Pokémon Trading Card Game, specifically illustrating the Terastal Fest ex Eevee ex card. This collaboration involved designing a cake—a fruit tart arranged like jewels—for the card’s background. Her work is credited as 'Natsuko Shoji été'. She was approached by The Pokémon Company after visits to her restaurant, making her the first chef to contribute art to Pokémon cards. Her role in the TCG is a special one-off collaboration rather than a full-time position.
