About
Naoki Saito (さいとうなおき) is a Japanese illustrator, manga artist, and YouTuber born on November 13, 1982. He made his professional debut at the age of 19, contributing artwork to the Duel Masters Trading Card Game. Saito is a regular illustrator for the Pokémon Trading Card Game and is known for his work on Hatsune Miku merchandise. He is the main illustrator and character designer for the mobile game Dragalia Lost. From 2010 to 2014, he wrote and illustrated the manga Baki Domoe, a comedy spin-off of Baki the Grappler. Saito has also designed figures for Pokémon and collaborated on various merchandise, including a Hatsune Miku figure and illustrations for Digimon Adventure's 20th anniversary. He runs a YouTube channel where he shares art advice, having gained over 1.3 million subscribers before his original channel was banned in March 2023. He graduated from Tama Art University with a degree in graphic design.
