About
Nabana Kensaku (菜花健作) is a graphic artist and designer at Game Freak, primarily known for his work in the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG). He made his TCG artist debut in the Cosmic Eclipse set, illustrating one card titled Professor Oak’s Setup (Cosmic Eclipse 201). In addition to his contributions to the TCG, Kensaku has worked as a graphic designer on various Pokémon video games, including Pokémon X and Y, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, Sun and Moon, Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon, Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!, Sword and Shield, Scarlet and Violet, and Pokémon Legends: Z-A. His role in these projects has included character modeling, 3D map graphics, and Pokémon design. Despite having illustrated only one card, his work has been recognized within the Pokémon community.
