About
Motofumi Fujiwara (Japanese: 藤原基史, Fujiwara Motofumi) is a Japanese Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) illustrator and designer. He is credited with designing the original Generation I Pokémon Eevee, Jolteon, and Flareon. Fujiwara worked for Game Freak until around September 2013 before transitioning to freelance work. As a TCG artist, he has illustrated approximately 19 Pokémon cards, including Erika’s Bellossom, Chikorita, Spinda, Fan Rotom, and Blaziken FB. His work has been featured in various expansions since the VS expansion. Fujiwara's contributions to the Pokémon franchise have made him a notable figure in the gaming community. He was born on November 2, 1963, and is recognized for his artistic skills and design work in the Pokémon series.
