Junsei Kuninobu

Junsei Kuninobu (Japanese: くにのぶ じゅんせい) is an artist employed by Game Freak. He has worked on several Pokémon video games as a UI and character modeling designer. Junsei Kuninobu has contributed artwork to the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), but only for a single card to date. His first—and currently only—illustration is the Full Art print of Guzma & Hala (TAG TEAM Supporter) from the Cosmic Eclipse expansion. Bulbapedia confirms that he has illustrated exactly one card: the Full Art print of Guzma & Hala from Cosmic Eclipse. Serebii.net also states he has illustrated one card, again Guzma & Hala from Cosmic Eclipse. A comprehensive list of Pokémon TCG artists shows Junsei Kuninobu with 1 card illustrated. The Eyevo TCG database lists the artist for the Guzma & Hala card as Junsei Kuninobu. A collector’s guide to the Guzma & Hala card also names him as the illustrator of that specific card (Cosmic Eclipse #229). Therefore, Junsei Kuninobu is indeed a Pokémon TCG illustrator, but his contribution is limited to just one card.
