About
James Turner is a Canadian illustrator, comic book writer, and artist known for his work in the Pokémon franchise. He has contributed to the design of Shiny Pokémon, specifically starting from the 2016 games Pokémon Sun and Moon. Shiny Pokémon are rare color variations of standard Pokémon, introduced in the 1999 games Pokémon Gold and Silver. Turner is also credited as an illustrator for several Pokémon Trading Card Game cards, including Duskull, Dusclops, and Dusknoir in the Shrouded Fable expansion, as well as the Pansear card. His comic series Rex Libris ran from 2005 to 2008 and he has published a graphic novel titled 'Warlord of Io'. Turner has participated in various exhibitions, showcasing his artistic talents.
