About
Izucch, whose real name is Taeko Izuno, is a freelance illustrator known for her contributions to the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG). She made her TCG debut with the Pokémon Beldum in the 'Journey Together' expansion. Since then, she has illustrated multiple cards, including Manectric, Team Rocket’s Pupitar, and Snom. Before her freelance career, Izucch worked as a keyframe animator at Sunrise Inc. and Ishimori Productions. Her artistic style is characterized by soft, fuzzy, and almost impressionistic lines, creating a blend of subjects and backgrounds that appear abstracted. This unique approach has been highlighted in various sources, noting her soft and blurry linework that gives her artwork a distinct visual feel.
