About
HiRON, whose real name is Hirofumi Nakano, is a 3D illustrator based in Tokyo, Japan. He is known for his work as an illustrator for the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), with his first appearance in the 'Dragons Exalted' expansion. HiRON has illustrated a total of 13 cards for the Pokémon TCG, including the card Solosis from the EX Battle Boost set. In addition to his work in the gaming industry, he serves as a lecturer in digital design at Niigata College of Art & Design and teaches illustration at Tokyo Designer Gakuin College. HiRON is also affiliated with DigitalImage and frequently contributes illustrations for computing and car magazines, focusing on stylized, futuristic vehicles and anthropomorphized creatures. His distinctive style features 3D elements and reflective surfaces, often inspired by mecha and futuristic themes.
