Fujimoto Gold (Japanese: フジモトゴールド), born in 1993, is an illustrator, concept artist, and designer based in Kobe, Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. He graduated from the Graphic Design Department of Kobe City College of Technology, where he gained early experience in illustration. His pen-name originated as a nickname from a restaurant owner where he had worked. Fujimoto's initial involvement with the Pokémon franchise came as the sole background artist on PokéTOON's Snorunt’s Summer Vacation in 2021. He entered the 2022 Pokémon TCG Illustration Contest, submitting artworks featuring Charizard, Greninja, and Pikachu, but did not advance past the quarter-finals. In 2023, he worked as the character designer for Detective Pikachu & the Mystery of the Missing Flan, adapting designs from Detective Pikachu Returns into animation. In 2024, he achieved his first official artwork for the Pokémon Trading Card Game with a Gastly illustration in the Temporal Forces expansion. He has illustrated multiple cards for the TCG, including Gastly, Cramorant, Medicham, and others.
