Benimaru Itoh, also known as Ashura Benimaru, is a prominent Japanese illustrator and 3D modeling director at Creatures Inc. He is recognized for his contributions to the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), having illustrated at least six cards, including a stylized reprint of a promotional Mewtwo and Brock's Onix from the Gym Heroes expansion. His work is officially credited in the Pokémon Trading Card Game for Game Boy Color, released in 1998. In addition to his role in the TCG, Itoh has a diverse background as a manga artist, designer, and musician. He has been involved in the Pokémon franchise since its early days, having worked with Creatures Inc., which is one of the owners of The Pokémon Company. His artistic contributions reflect a transition to a 3D rendering style in the Pokémon games. Itoh's work has been recognized across various platforms, solidifying his status in the gaming and illustration communities.
