About
Atsushi Furusawa (古澤あつし) is a freelance illustrator known for his work on the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG). He began illustrating for the Pokémon TCG in 2020 and has contributed artwork for numerous cards, including notable illustrations of Morpeko, Lapras, and various Eevee evolutions. His first official artwork was for Morpeko in the Sword & Shield era's Black Star Promo cards. As of now, he has illustrated over 50 cards, including contributions to promotional cards for Pokémon Legends: Arceus and Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. Furusawa was also a semi-finalist in the Pokémon Card Game Illustration Grand Prix with a Charizard illustration. In 2024, he served as a judge for the Pokémon TCG Illustration Contest. His creative process has been featured in articles, showcasing his ability to capture the spirit and beauty of Pokémon.
