About
Yoshiyuki Tagawa, known by his pseudonym 'Big Mama' Tagawa, is a graphic designer at Creatures, Inc. He has contributed to the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) by creating 3D models and illustrations, primarily for Trainer and Technical Machine cards. Most of his work consists of computer-generated graphics, with a notable exception being the traditional illustration of the Neo Revelation Magneton card. Tagawa is credited with illustrating various cards, including Multi Technical Machine 01 and Dual Ball, as well as multiple 'Cube' Trainer cards. The number of cards he has illustrated varies by source, with estimates ranging from at least 17 unique pieces to as many as 54 when including reprints and variants. His contributions to the Pokémon TCG have been recognized since the Neo Genesis set.
