About
Kyoko Umemoto (Japanese: 梅本恭子) is a recognized illustrator for the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG). Her first contribution to the series was the illustration of 'Arbok' from the Expedition Base Set. She has illustrated approximately 176 cards in the main Pokémon TCG series and 24 cards in the Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket subset. Her contributions span various expansions, and she has also worked as a graphic designer since around 2001. In addition to her TCG work, she is involved in the PokéLids project, a promotional art initiative. Over her career, she has contributed to around 211 cards and various promotional artworks. Her work has been acknowledged in multiple sources, including Bulbapedia and Serebii.net.
