Hajime Kusajima (Japanese: 草嶋一) is a recognized illustrator for the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG). He began his contributions with the Japanese Pokémon VS expansion and made his first appearance in English with the Expedition Base Set. Over his career, he has illustrated 213 cards, including reprints, and has been active since the Wizards Promos era. His artistic style has evolved significantly, starting with watercolor and ink in the e-Card Series, transitioning to a computer-assisted style in the early EX Series, and later incorporating heavier outlines and vivid colors. He is known for his richly detailed backgrounds, earning the title “Environment Architect” during the Sword & Shield era. His total contributions across various platforms range from approximately 207 to 234 cards. Additionally, he worked as an illustrator for the Pokémon Art Academy video game in 2014 under the name 'TOKIYA'.
